Note: This Kit has a slightly lower cut. These blades will swing back if you hit something when mowing. Reducing the rise of braking spindles bolts to the spindle like a standard blade.

Swing back blades

Swing back blades takes heaps of stress off the mower deck. When the factory fixed blades (husky 46inch zero turn) impact a rock stump or anything else it smashes the blade backwards with the potential to damage the blade, crack the mounts on the cast aluminium spindle or burns the deck belt out due to the pulley getting forced backwards on it. Usually once the fixed blade has a bit smashed off one end the whole deck starts vibrating it’s guts out due to it being out of balance and this causes fractures in the crappy pressed deck. And if your really unlucky the tensioner pulley flogs out of alignment and starts throwing the belt every friggin time u click it into gear. My deck has about 5kgs of welding rod in it patching it all back together. Swing back blades obviously swing back when they hit something hard thereby preventing all the potential damage. So for me it is the best mod you can do on these mowers. These blades should be installed from the factory!!!
